The meaning of the River of Stars refers to the Milky Way—more precisely the ancient Egyptians referred to the Milky Way as a river that they perceived was perfectly aligned with the Nile...It is also said that there is a subterranean river that runs underneath the Nile meridian, all along Africa: A River of Gold!

The Nile meridian (31 East) covers the most earth on the planet, and continues across the north pole (150 West) to cover the most water on the other side of the globe--coming in close proximity to the south eastern part of the Big Island of Hawaii, where The River of Stars Conference takes place. Such synchronicity may reveal more than meets the eyes...

The inspiration for creating the conference comes from Credo Mutwa’s quote: “Man must make two connections, he must reconnect with the earth, he must reconnect with the stars.” We are inspired to connect the earth with the sky by building a program that incorporates, mind, spirit, heart, and body; from thought provoking presentations by excellent speakers to experiential sessions, along with true involvement with the powerful environment of the Big Island South East. Our special guest will be the connecting element between the stars and the earth—a very special person that will surely move all participants with poignant insights and experience.

 Astrology is a sacred practice and sacred knowledge—we would like to address it ceremoniously, celebrate, and honor it. Yoga and meditation practice have been incorporated into the program in order to stay tuned with our higher self during the conference. It keeps the right brain channel open and receptive.

Ha! We must also remember that a celebration is a fun experience and so keep in mind you are coming to enjoy yourself! Meet old and new friends and speak your private, and yet universal, astrology dialect without being preoccupied by the label of “weirdo!” Walk along the mesmerizing coastline, swim in the ocean or the pool, get a good dose of vitamin D from the Sun, and simply relax within the paradisiacal compound of Kalani’s resort.
